Cheat sheet
Three tables to check before you put chips in. Your bluff: for each bet size as a % of the pot, how often villain must fold for the bluff to break even. Formula: bet / (pot + bet), so a pot-sized bluff needs 1 / (1 + 1) = 50% folds. Villain's bet: for each bet size, how often you must win for the call to break even. Formula: call / (pot + bet + call), so against a half-pot bet you need 0.5 / (1 + 0.5 + 0.5) = 25%. Your equity vs range: a suggested bet size for each level of equity against villain's range.

When you register changes who you play against. The usual rule of thumb: register early and you face more weak players while the blinds are small, which is where your skill edge is worth the most and your ROI (return on investment) is highest. Register late and you start with fewer big blinds against a tougher field, so your results swing more and you need a bigger bankroll. The format matters too. Freezeouts and progressive knockouts suit late registration while the starting stack is still large in big blinds. Turbos and hypers are best entered at the start. Registering just before the money bubble can work, but it is a high-variance play for players who are comfortable with a short stack. Use the timers and clocks above so no registration window closes on you by accident.
A GTO (game theory optimal) mixed strategy only works if you really play the frequencies. Say you decide to bet a hand 40% of the time and check it the rest. Left to feel, most players drift into a pattern, and a pattern is what opponents exploit. The Randomizer draws a number from 0 to 99 for you: bet on 0 to 39, check on 40 to 99. Your action follows the frequency you chose, and your opponents get nothing to read.
