What we collect

• Account information (email, name) when you register
• Usage data (pages visited, features used) via Google Analytics 4
• Payment information processed securely by Stripe (we never store card numbers)
• Cookies necessary for the service to function
• In our mobile apps: usage and crash data via Amplitude, Firebase and Sentry, and subscription status via Qonversion (see “Mobile apps”)

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the Poker Academy service
• To send transactional emails (receipts, trial reminders)
• To analyze usage and improve the product
• We never sell your personal data to third parties

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication, analytics (Google Analytics 4), and to remember your preferences. You can manage cookies via the banner at the bottom of the page. Declining analytics cookies will disable GA4 tracking.

Mobile apps

This policy also covers our two mobile apps, Preflop Academy and Poker Equity & Odds, on iOS and Android. Both are operated by iSolve Sp. z o.o., the company named under Contact below.

• Account: Firebase Authentication (Google) handles sign-in with email and password, Google, or Apple. We store your email and a user id.
• Crash and error reports: Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry collect device model, OS version, app version, and error logs.
• Product analytics: Amplitude and Firebase Analytics record screens used, features used, and in-app events, tied to your account user id. Amplitude processes this data in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission standard contractual clauses.
• Advertising identifier: the apps can use your device advertising identifier to measure which campaign an install or a subscription came from. On iOS we ask for your permission first, and the identifier is not used if you decline.
• Attribution, in Preflop Academy only: AppsFlyer records which campaign or link an install came from, and gives us an AppsFlyer id that we attach to your subscription record in Qonversion. On iOS it waits for the permission above, and it reads the advertising identifier only if you allow it.
• Push notifications, in Preflop Academy only: Firebase Cloud Messaging gives the app a device token so we can send you notifications. The app asks your permission first, and you can withdraw it in your device settings.
• Performance measurements, in Preflop Academy only: Firebase Performance measures how fast the app starts and how long its network requests take.
• Reminders, in Poker Equity & Odds: practice reminders are scheduled on your own device. That app sends no push notifications, so no device token and no reminder reaches us. It does not use AppsFlyer, Firebase Cloud Messaging or Firebase Performance.
• Subscriptions: purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Qonversion manages your subscription status. We never see your card numbers.
• Deletion: you can delete your account from inside either app. Deleting it removes the account and the progress synced to it. The steps for Poker Equity & Odds are written out at https://poker.academy/delete-account, and you can also ask us to delete your data by email.
• How long we keep it: your account data stays while the account exists. Deleting the account removes it from our side.

Your rights (GDPR)

EU users have the right to access, correct, delete, or export their data. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection supervisory authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
