## What it covers

- Multi-table tournaments (MTTs), 6-max cash games and Spin & Go
- Final tables, satellites, BB ante, PKO and more
- Multiway pots, blind vs blind, spots against limpers and more
- Stack depths from 3 BB to 100 BB

## Why these charts

- **Deeply Calculated**: We have spent years calculating preflop charts in Monker, aiming for higher accuracy than other charts on the market. Our players tell us how much this matters, so we choose quality over quantity.
- **Pure GTO, Nothing Hand-Picked**: Every solution is calculated with game theory optimal principles. Nobody picks hands by feel; it is all math.
- **Easy to Use**: Many users recommend us for the largest library and an interface that is easy to use. Good preflop charts exist elsewhere online. What we add is a comfortable way to find and use them.
- **Almost Every Scenario Covered**: We cover 23 stack sizes, several tournament phases (direct bubbles, 10% of the field left, 25% of the field left and more) and many scenarios (multiway, vs squeeze, vs 4-bet and more). There are also simulations for PKO, satellites and final tables.

## How to use them

1. **Game Type**: Most of our users pick ChipEV, because it fits the widest range of online poker situations. Learn how to play GTO at every tournament stage.
2. **Hero Stack Size**: We have preflop charts for 23 stack sizes. Seeing how the strategy changes from one stack size to the next teaches you a lot about poker strategy. At ultra-short stacks we have seen how far players' strategies drift from GTO.
3. **Category**: With a short stack, your strategy depends a lot on the size of the open-raise you face. Players asked for 3-bet-only and limping strategies because many are unsure how to respond to them, so we added them.
4. **Table Action Scenario**: Learn to play every scenario you face at the table. The most frequent ones, "Raise First" and "vs Raise First", matter most for your results.
5. **Player positions at the table**: Choose each player's position. A third position is available in 3-player scenarios: vs squeeze, facing a cold 4-bet, multiway spots and vs isolation.

## Questions

**What is GTO poker strategy?**

GTO (Game Theory Optimal) poker strategy is a mathematically balanced approach where your play cannot be exploited. It focuses on making decisions that maximize expected value regardless of your opponent's strategy.

**Why can you trust our charts?**

Every solution is calculated at high depth in the Monker Solver engine, using our game assumptions.

**What game formats do you support? Do you support Cash Games or Omaha?**

Right now we support No Limit Texas Hold'em only. We offer subscriptions for MTTs, Cash Games and Spin & Go. We do not support Omaha, 5-card Omaha or 6+ Hold'em (Short Deck).

**Does it work on mobile?**

The web app is not fully optimized for phone screens. We also have a mobile app with all the preflop charts, but it lacks some features, such as Edge, Range Selecting and Compare Ranges. You can download it from the App Store and Google Play. For the best view, use the app in a browser.

**Why isn't it free?**

Our goal is to make poker study easier. Calculating all these simulations took a lot of work (our servers have been calculating 24/7 since 2020), and so did building an interface that makes them easy to use.

**Will it also help me play better postflop?**

Yes. Preflop ranges are the foundation of postflop play. When you know the correct preflop ranges, you know which hands are in your range and in your opponent's, so your postflop decisions get more accurate.

**Is Preflop Academy the same as Poker Academy?**

The company started as Preflop Academy, helping players master preflop. Later we built a Postflop Solver to teach GTO postflop play, and changed the brand name to Poker Academy.

**Is Poker Academy for beginner players, advanced or professionals?**

Players at any level can get value from Poker Academy. Most of our users play at average buy-ins between $10 and $100.
