It’s Jason Su of Poker With Presence again.
Today I’m gonna talk about how to build out a perfect pregame routine.
I played poker for a living for over 15 years.
Never had a losing year.
Made it to high stakes mixed games and have a crazy high ROI in MTTs for my lifetime in the ones I played in.
I’ve helped hundreds of clients over the past few years maximize both their earnings and their enjoyment of the game of poker.
One way to do this?
Making sure you feel great at the start of every session.
Consider this: if the average player feels about a 5 on a scale of 1-10 in terms of readiness and flow when they start their session, how much money in the long run would it be worth to always start at a 9 or a 10?
At the stakes I played, if I had started at a 9 or 10 every session for the last 18 years, I’d probably have an extra million dollars or more.
That’s the bad news.
The good news:
Over the years I’ve learned how to make sure I enter each session feeling better than most—and now all that work has translated into millions of dollars for my clients.
So the big question:
How do you make sure you’re feeling great at the start of each session?
There are a million different ways, but all good routines have one thing in common: they help you feel connected inside and out. When you feel it, you know you’re ready to play your best.
It doesn’t matter “what” you do.
Only that you feel that feeling.
Go after it relentlessly, and your bankroll will thank you.
Hopefully this gets you moving in the right direction.
In the meantime, if you’d like to try a ready-made method of warming up that has already helped thousands of people feel that special feeling of being relaxed, confident, and motivated before their sessions, you can try my guided audio download, “The Ultimate Warmup” is available for free on my site.
I once showed it to a client.
This guy pays me a lot of money every year, and has made 3 WSOP final tables in his last four events.
“Wait, you give this away for free?”
It’s that good.
So good that even years after getting it, my clients still use it regularly.
