Old man says goodbye

I’ve been in poker for 22 years now, which makes me an old man dinosaur in this game.

Proud to say I’ve never had a losing year.

Battled against the likes of Negreanu, Hellmuth, Doug, Jungle, and many, many others over the years for large sums of money in all types of formats.

I’ve seen it all, and I know this:

There’s no amount of money or success that will change how you feel about yourself.

It is important to work hard on your game. (You can start for free with the 7-day-trial at Poker Academy)

But if you don’t combine that with a healthy relationship inside yourself, you’ll end up with a life where winning is just a temporary relief from the pain of losing, and that’s not a life that you can sustain.

So yeah, do the work.

Study, learn it all, but don’t forget to do the same inside yourself, so that you can be in the super rare category of people in the game who have great success and actually enjoy it too.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the insights from this series of posts.

In case you missed it, I did my “How to Eliminate Regret” webinar for Poker Academy members where I broke down all the ways in which conventional mindset coaching has failed to help you let go of regrets and how I’ve successfully trained all my clients to move forward and perform your best no matter how hard things get.

People pay me large sums of money to take them through a version of what I did on this webinar.

And I’m not exaggerating when I say:

If you apply this with commitment, it will change everything—your results, your performance, and your life.

That’s all from me for now.
